In 2019, Pooch Hotel (in the West Loop) graciously offered ALIVE Rescue the option to rent part of their storefront space for free. This has had several major impacts for ALIVE Rescue:

• We are now able to better showcase our adoptable animals by having adoption events and open houses at the Adoption Center.

​​

• The West Loop is a popular area, giving our adoptables even more exposure.

​​

• Who can argue with free rent? This generous partnership has allowed us to trim our overhead costs so we can reallocate more funds towards medical care, training, vaccinations and more.

​

Because of the size of the space, the fact that we often have animals loose inside and the sporadic availability of volunteers, the Adoption Center isn't regularly open to the public. Despite this, we often have Open Houses on Saturdays and Sundays. See our upcoming Open Houses (and which animals will be there) on our Events page.
